Deep channels or grooves present on carapace, separating gastric, hepatic, branchial and cardiac regions. Hepatic and protogastric regions separated from several median regions by a broad, deep longitudinal groove, which extends from the middle of the antero-lateral margin to the lateral of the intestinal region. Branched shallow groove presnt between hepatic and protogastric regions; another groove between cardiac and intestinal regions. Huge cylindrical sausage-shaped processes present on either side of the carapace between the junction of antero-lateral and postero-lateral borders. The antero-lateral margin concave at the middle portion, while postero-lateral margin almost straight. A rounded protuberance present on either side in the posterior margin, above which is present another large median protuberance. Buccal frame distinctly triangular. Buccal cavern can be clearly seen from antero-dorsal view. Abdomen granulated marginally both in males and females. The dactyli of pereiopods narrowly lanceolate.
